Joven a\u00fan, entr\u00f3 en los Misioneros Hijos del Inmaculado Coraz\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda (Claretianos). Se orden\u00f3 sacerdote el 11\/8\/1974.<\/p>\n<p>Complet\u00f3 una licenciatura en el Claretianum de Roma, se ocup\u00f3 de pastoral parroquial en PR y fue formador en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana. Guiado por su director espiritual, Baldomero Jim\u00e9nez Duque, el P. An\u00edbal discerni\u00f3 que Dios lo llamaba a fundar una nueva comunidad religiosa. Con permiso de sus superiores, emprendi\u00f3 la tarea fundacional. Mons. Miguel Rodr\u00edguez, Obispo de Arecibo, PR, erigi\u00f3 los Esclavos de la Eucarist\u00eda y de Mar\u00eda Virgen el 15\/8\/1981.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las iniciativas m\u00e1s destacadas de P. An\u00edbal fue la construcci\u00f3n del Santuario de Schoenstatt Magnificat.<\/p>\n<p>Tras cargar las pesadas cruces de la fundaci\u00f3n, el P.
